The Alpine Introduction Course is a 6-day instructional course that introduces participants to summer alpine mountaineering. Participants will learn basic skills such as walking in crampons, using an ice axe, and experiencing being on a glacier. The course is set in the Alps and is led by experienced guides from the International School of Mountaineering. Participants can expect to climb their first alpine summits and gain experience on classic peaks. The course is a great starting point for those new to alpine mountaineering and provides a solid foundation for further development. With a 4:1 ratio, participants will receive personalized attention and guidance throughout the course.
